Citizens of Baltimore city are always being told by bureaucrats that problems take time to study and analyze. We are told that traffic studies take time and money and that resolutions to traffic problems are complex. Bureaucrats also tell us how difficult it is to document drug transactions and known drug markets. We are told that there are just not enough police to catch all the bad guys. Baltimore's bureaucracy and the political machine that controls it tries to do as little work as possible for as much money as possible. The tax payer ends up with a high tax bill with few benefits. The current government status quo as produced a do it yourself city. If you want something done then you are going to have to do it yourself instead of relying on the people that your taxes are paying to do the job. "Proactive" is not a word that is in the vocabulary of Baltimore bureaucrats.

Click on this link to view a 16 page PDF document that a citizen of Reservoir Hill produced on his own without spending a dime. The document shows problem traffic and drug dealing areas in Reservoir Hill. It gives logical and easily implementable solutions to the problems that would dramatically improve the quality of life of residents of the neighborhood. I hope the bureaucrats take a look at this document and follow the recommendations of one of the citizens they are supposed to work for.  This document is a bold example of what our bloated bureaucracy should be doing instead of making up excuses.
