I actually have an interesting story about Rice Consulting from my campaign in 2007. One of their representatives was shocked when I said I did not believe in "Pay to Play". I will get into that another time, lets just say Rice is in a dirty business. Politicians hire these consultants to raise money for them and then the consultants get a large cut of the money raised. They have no incentive to turn down money from any corrupt LLC, corporation, or individual.
For those of you who are angry about Stephanie's (Rawlings-Blake) proposed live entertainment bill, I suggest you email/contact the owners of Lemongrass and tell them if Sheila Dixon signs the bill into law that you will NEVER go to their establishment again and you will make sure none of your friends ever go there. Tell them you will always remember how they indirectly supported this horrible bill by supporting the woman who signed it into law. Contact Mayor Dixon and tell her the same thing. This is the only way to stop this ridiculous bill from passing.
