Page Croyder used to work in the Baltimore State's Attorney's Office. She is familiar with what happens on the inside.  Over a month ago she wrote a piece that describes many interesting aspects of how the office works. She gives some insight in to how Margaret Burns operates.  One can see why some members of the media might give her a free pass since she seems to leak information to them (For the record I do not mean Luke Broadwater. He is great!).  You can read the entire article here.  Make sure you scroll down to the middle of the page where it says "FEEDING THE PRESS".

Here is a little tidbit from the article that I liked:

"She did not seem to know that a prosecutor’s release of them before they become publicly available—and maybe even at all--is unethical, though I don’t suppose Linskey would care. Burns makes her job easier, which is Burns’ goal."

Today is the fire Margaret Burns press conference in front of the Mitchell Courthouse (111 North Calvert Street)  at noon.  Anna Sowers will be there to answer all of your questions pertaining to this situation. Anna gives a nice summary of what to expect from today here.  I just watched Anna on Fox 45 morning news. It has been refreshing to see how the media has decided to pick up on this story again.  I will be at the event and will post a report here later in the day.  It should be a very interesting gathering.  Still no word from Mayor Dixon.
