Is there really a difference?

We need leaders at the top who are willing to take stands on REAL ISSUES.

The minimization of the unnecessary suffering and death of Zach Sowers by a representative of Patricia Jessamy is reprehensible!  How would you like if you had just gone through the agonizing process of seeing a loved one slowly die because of injuries sustained in an attack and then have a PUBLIC OFFICIAL TAUNT AND VERBALLY ATTACK YOU? Oh and remember that three of the killers get to be out of jail in eight years.  No doubt that would even make you more willing to kneel at the feet of Pharaoh Jessamy and take another slap to the face. Right? I mean in Baltimore we are supposed to sit here on our hands and take it like men and not question our brilliant leaders while Rome burns.

It is easy to take stands on baggy pants, plastic bags, fatty foods, and loud houses.  It takes a real leader to give an opinion that might cost her some votes one day.  It takes a real leader to FINALLY stand up to the State's Attorney's office.  Serve the people!

Mayor Sheila Dixon and City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake have stood there shamefully quiet about Margaret Burns and Patricia Jessamy.  They Have the power to make a difference but they refuse.  If this has anything to do with their lack of popularity in Canton in the last election then they should both resign immediately.  What will it take for them to do the RIGHT THING and demand the firing of Margaret Burns?

You never know when the next protest will end up in your front yard (literally)...
