City Paper Wins The Best Of Meister Early Upload Award

September 23, 1:37 PM

The City Paper likes to give funny little awards out once a year so I thought I should give them a funny little award and allow all of you to read their paper a day before it hits the streets.

I really like this piece about the Urbanite.  I like how they mention the changing media environment in Baltimore.  I know a little something about that one.

Political Animal is as animalistic as ever!

Mobtown Beat is violent this week.  Van Smith is one of my favorites over there. Did you know that one cold winter day a few years ago Van randomly showed up on my doorstep?  I gave him a tour of my place and he asked me some questions about an "investor" who happens to be the son of a former congressman.

Speaking of violence- Murder Ink.

Interesting piece about David Foster Wallace.

Councilmania provides us some news from city council. You have to give them credit for this one. I think this is the only paper in town that has a city council feature in every edition when the council is in session

The Mail is filled with thought provoking letters including one from Baltimore's favorite serial letter writer Larnell Custis Butler!
