Why doesn't the Sun print a description of the Mount Vernon Rapist?

I was on the Ed Norris Show today to talk about the search for the man who has raped between five and six women in Mount Vernon. The question of why the Baltimore Sun did not print a description of the suspect came up. Many are also wondering why it took so long for the story to hit the mainstream print and TV news (it did not appear in the traditional Paper/TV until AFTER I wrote about it here). I do not have answers to these questions but I think it is wrong for the Sun not to print the description of the suspect in its print edition. The police have provided posters showing a sketch of the guy so the Sun should relay that information to their readers.

I think the media should try to inform the public of potential danger so that the danger can be eliminated ASAP. Keeping things quiet (by the media or by our leaders) only leads to panic and anger once the story finally leaks. The media and our politicians should not be worried about political correctness or political consequences when it comes to a topic like this.
