The big Senators won't see the Scotiabank Place ice until they square off with the Edmonton Oilers tuesday night; however, that doesn't mean the building won't see any action, as the team will showcase its future this afternoon (3:00pm ET; tickets still available), as the baby Sens take on the Hamilton Bulldogs' squad of hopeful future Montreal Canadiens.
The game will give fans a chance to see young players in their development (such as the recently demoted Erik Karlsson), as well as an opportunity to see professional hockey up close and personal in a way they may not usually get to see, as a lower-bowl ticket for the game is priced at $24 (compared to $130-$160 for regular Senators home games). For the players, it offers a look at what may be to come if they can crack the lineup of the NHL squad.
