Graphic designers often times take advantage of seasons and holidays to promote their products through advertisements and package design. They attempt to do something more innovative and creative than their competitors, always trying to stay one step ahead of the game.

While not so much Halloween-themed, Pepsi designed a line of cans for their 2009 Halloween packaging. The design is, however, innovative. Halloween design often goes over the top, incorporating the classic Halloween icons and colors. Pepsi chose to do something outside the box this year for their Halloween packaging, using clean lines and their own iconic colors and logo. At first glance, it almost looks like they did not change their packaging at all. Sometimes, though, that is what leads to a successful package design.

Way to go, Pepsi!
