If you don’t mind a little drive, mark your calendars for November 14-15 when Bass Jam 09 opens in Cotati with admission is free. Bass Jam will be held at the new Outdoor Pro shop slated to open January 2010.

This event just possibly could include every vendor a San Joaquin Delta Fisherman can think of. The vendors that will be on site include Berkley, Lamiglas, Jig Monster, Pepper Jigs, Dobyns Rods and Gamakatsu to name only a few. New vendors and products are announced almost daily on the Bass Jam 09 Blog.

Pro Angler Seminars are lined up to run from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday. Seminar topics regarding products, tips, locations and more will be covered by many tournament pros. A few to look forward to are below;

Ish Monroe a local pro from Hughson, CA  will be presenting seminar topics both days. Ish swept the FLW Stren Series Western Division this past spring on the San Joaquin Delta. He weighed the biggest limit all three days of the tournament by reportedly punching Sweet Beavers and his own PHAT Frog. He will be reportedly be introducing that same Phat Frog he designed with Snag Proof that helped him win the May 09 tournament.

Also speaking both days local pro, Skeet Reese from Auburn, CA. Skeet just earned the title of the 2009 Bassmaster Classic Champion. His Signature Rod Series seems to have hit every tackle store recently at a price reasonable for every angler ranging from $79.99 to $89.99. He will be covering “keys to success”.

Another local favorite pro and guide providing insight both seminars days is Randy Pringle, the fishing instructor. He has fished professionally for more than 20 years with over 75 top ten finishes and 24 tournament wins. Randy currently guides on the San Joaquin Delta and Lakes Don Pedro, McClure, Melones, Camanche, Berryessa and Clearlake. His seminars will include basics from worm rigging and color selection to fall patterns of bass.

The event will be introducing many new products available for the upcoming season and items being offered at unbeatable "show only" prices.  A sneak peak at the raffle and giveaways from many vendors are listed in the blog.

The event also offers a BMX stunt show featuring stunts over a Ranger Boat occurring twice each day. Additional information about Bass Jam 09, a complete list of vendors and speakers is available at the Bass Jam website.

A review of the event is now available.
