Shelby Farms Park Conservancy located at 500 North Pine Lake Drive in Memphis is full of adventure and learning opportunities for people of all ages. Begin your time at the park horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, in-line skating and more. If you and your family enjoy spending time outdoors this is the perfect place to visit.

Shelby Farms offers paved and unpaved trails to all their visitors. If you are searching for a great trail for walking or jogging, start with the Patriot Lake trail. This trail is 12 feet wide and 1.67 miles long. The park’s Chickasaw and South Trails are also great for walkers, runners and cyclists.

While at the park, stop by one of their many outdoor shelters and enjoy a picnic. Each picnic area on the grounds are different sizes and offers different amenities to the guests. Guests can choose shelters with electricity, double grills and even restrooms. If you plan to use one or more of the shelters for business purposes, reservations are required.

Along with all the activities available at the park, they also host several events throughout the year. Be sure to visit their website www.shelbyfarmspark.org for more information on the parks event times and other information.

Shelby Farms Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset; however, the visitors center is only open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
