Find out more about Marguerite: Marguerite Patterson was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After her high school graduation, she went on to join the Army Intelligence to be a German translator. She went on to DePaul University and studied Political Science and International Affairs. She lived in Belgium for a year working for the European Union (EU), supporting an English Parliament Member and Irish Commissioner, and was tasked to attend EU meetings and also complete a comparative study of the member states to the United States. She has published a book, A Women’s Guide to the Army, from a Survivor that highlights her personal experiences in the service. After working as a Marketing Manager for the big four accounting firms, she decided to change her career and focus on project management, which she has been doing for the past 7 years. Marguerite is a divorced mother with one child named Stephan who is now 2 years old. She loves motherhood and is an advocate for women involved in domestic violence. |
