Find out more about Jonathan: Born and raised in the central Piedmont of North Carolina Jonathan learned to drive a tractor and build fences for livestock before he could multiply. He spent his early teens in south central Virginia experiencing low-income urban life before returning to North Carolina and studying liberal arts at The University Of North Carolina At Wilmington. He left the University prematurely to work in the music industry in multiple professional roles, write for independent press publications and follow independent studies in design. Jonathan has been a resident artist in the now defunct Trace Gallery in Raleigh, NC, organized workshops in literature and performance art and works in the natural foods retail sector where he has been for 10 years to date. He is currently working with the Ashevillage Institute in Asheville, North Carolina and will be studying at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro, North Carolina in their sustainable agriculture degree program beginning Spring 2010. |
