Kurbaan Hindi movie directed by Rensil D'Silva and produced by Karan Johar will be released on 20th Nov 2009. The film stars the real life couple Saif Ali khan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Om Puri.

The story of the film is set against the backdrop of global terrorism and the distortion of religion.

Avantika is a teacher in a college in Delhi. She's just come back from New York because her father has suffered a heart attack. She meets another professor, Ehsaan Khan. They begin seeing each other and fall in love. After a few months, Avantika gets a call from her university in New York asking her to come back for the fall semester. Avantika tells this news to Ehsaan. He in turn, says even he wishes to come to the US along with her to find a job. But they have to get married.

Soon after the marriage they leave for New York. They buy a house in an Indian colony and move in. Just as they are setting up home their Muslim neighbours, Hamid and Anjum, invite them over for dinner.

Next follow a series of events that gets Avantika into danger and intrigue. As her life spirals out of control Avantika comes to know she has been used in a huge game. And no one is to be trusted.
