There seems to be a horrible bug going on around town almost as common as the flu bug. Its making people sick, depressed, and down right miserable. Most people don't know when its coming, it just happens. Too many of us are all too familiar with it due to the economy, it is UNEMPLOYMENT!

Here's a little medicine for you, there are some local online job boards you should definitely check out. My reccomendation is Jobing.com (www.jobing.com). It advertises local jobs here in the DFW Metroplex, and according to some job seekers they seem to hear from employers relatively faster than when compared to national job boards. Also, they have awesome videos for you to check out of some companies, so you can have a sneak peek into possible employers.

I also suggest, Texas Workforce Solutions, (http://www.twc.state.tx.us/twcinfo/twsolutions.html) they partner with 28workforce boards all in the DFW Metroplex also. They have a ton of additional resources to offer such as online computers, free faxing, and even career workshops. So turn that smile into a frown, check out these job boards and eat some chicken noodle soup. You might be cured from unemployment sooner than you think!
