Alexandra Kerry was pulled over for an expired registration yet the LAT notes that police detected signs of intoxication.
Kerry refused to take the test on the scene, Officer Faden would not confirm the results after it was administered a few hours later at the station.
Offer Faden made it clear that Kerry was arrested for driving under the influence and that she was released on a $5,000 bail.
John Kerry said he supports his daughter.
