DNA energy drink has come up with something pretty cool with their Orange flavored energy drink. If you can find this around your area, I would definitely pick one up. While it tastes an unexpected orange, it is loads different than NOS or Rockstar juiced. This is a great mix of red bull and orange crush - giving you a stronger mix than a lot of the popular mixes and a really fantastic and unexpected flavor.  Just like the other DNA flavors, I was very impressed with this drink , and saddened that I have yet to find a store I can buy these on a regular basis.

Packaging:6
I like the black - love the theme and enoy the little skull logo on the corner.  They have an amazing artist on their hands, so they should use him and come up with a can that is really unusual and unique.  This one just does not do it for me, either in dan layout or energy drink logo.  . The name is fantastic and their printing is fine, but their design is wrong in a very elemental level.  The gooft oulines of cool people doing cool things is completely lost, and in many places don't even look like what they were supposed to be.   I really do appreciate the information and all the stuff they have on the can, but this design has really got to go.

Taste: 8
When I normally open a can of something called citrus, I rarely expect something orange. Usually I get something grapefruity or something with a lemon lime flavor. But, seeing as the other flavor I recieved was lemon lime, I figured this one to taste a bit different - and was very pleasantly surprised. Most orange drinks are very sweet - overdoing it with the stickiness and ending up with a mix somewhere between orange crush and melted popsicle. DNA citrus stands out by giving us a drink which tastes much more tart and less sweet - tasting more like an orange flavored standard energy drink than an orange pop. This tastes like it is taking itself much more seriously than most other orange flavored sodas out there providing nutrition and other energy ingredients along with the flavor, as opposed to giving you a sugar rush. They did flavor this with High Frustose Corn Syrup, which is really a shame, as using another healthier and less heavy sweetener would have really helped this drink go the extra steps to a truly fantastic flavor. However, I would easily grab a can of this before thinking about a rockstar or monster Khaos.

Nutrition/Buzz:8
In terms of straight buzz, DNA really does the trick. The 200mg per can of caffeine is a nice decent buzz, but is unfortualtely helped with the sugar rush of the high fructose corn syrup. I say unfortunate because with every sugar high comes the sugar crash when it leaves your system, leaving you draggy a couple hours later.
I got about 4 hours of caffeinated energy from this , which is a pretty decent buzz for me. It also led to the slamming of a double shot four hours later to recover from the drowse I received.Still, completely worth it for the energy and taste.
