Jetset Energy Drink - Club Soda

April 11, 9:58 AM

Canada Dry and Schweppes, you better watch your back door - Jetset is going to be around the corner to change your business plans. Jetset is coming to take over! truly, as energy water goes this is the ONLY drink I can imagine for mixing with a good scotch or Malibu. This is in every way, club soda. Dont expect this to be a great caffeinated water - or a great drink in and of itself. This, and all the Jetset line, are used to be mixers in alcoholic drinks. I am even tempted to put this in the energy alcohol drinks, but seeing as it does not come pre-buggered, It might be misleading. If you are looking for a mixer that needs soda, this should be the one. somehow they made this with all the taurine and caffeine and it is completely devoid of all flavor, just full of tiny bubbles and the exciting promise of an energetic alcohol fueled evening.

Jeff Silver, founder of Jetset was vice president of business development at Rockstar, but he remained an independent contractor and never received an equity stake in the business. He helped introduce Rockstar to its inaugural market in the Bay Area, finished law school and owned a restaurant, but Rockstar made him realize his true calling was in caffeinating the drunken masses. "We would throw these huge events and get the public to come and have a great time, sampling and sampling and sampling," Silver said. "I really enjoyed the business, making sales, and being able to hold a product in your hand." After all the time developing these tastes and getting them this close to tasting like nothing, I hope he has learned how to do this right and stay around.

Great looking can, and a good amount of drink. This comes in a slim 10.5oz can - enough for a 12oz drink with a weak shot, or a couple nice drinks. The can is very very slick, and would looks just fine next to your better alcohols. While I am not sure it makes my Popov or Kamchatka (you know it is good vodka when it comes in a plastic bottle and advertises it is charcoal filtered) look any more classy, but it holds up against a Johnny Walker or an absolut just fine. The hip dance club typography and illustrations work great for this type of crowd and it lists everything you are about to consume. I cant wait to try out all the others in this line.
For people who doubt the size of the can has anything to do with the oackaging within, take a look at their previous look. I found this image of a previous offering by them, the 12oz can of the same thing. By slimming down the can they make the design more attractive, lose having to deal with the 12oz lip, and save themselves some product as well. This is an example of a design decision made right - by figuring out the niche that they wanted to capture, they were able to make a real niche for themselves in this market, and probably save some money as well.
Taste:9
How could an energy drink that tastes like nothing rate so high? The fact is, they manage to achieve a fabulous energy drink mix into a drink that never compromises taste. You would never even suspect there was all that caffeine and taurine in it, and does not pollute the flavor of the alcohol you mix in. Still, I would be tempted to not try this with my Glenlivet, but if you are going to pollute your scotch with a club soda anyways, it might as wll be one that wont make you drowsy.

Buzz:nutrition:9
120 milligrams of caffeine, 1000 milligrams of taurine, some Guarana and B-Vitamins, This EDM is strong as a mixer. Even the gineng they added does not interfere with the flavor - and there are 0 calories, so it is not like you are adding anything but a nice boost to the drinks you want to drink anyways.

website www.drinkjetset.com :5
What is with the warner brother Merrie Melodie Backgrounds? The website is a total waste. There is all the info in a hard to navigate website, that basically lists mixers you could do with the drink, while if you roll over and click at the right time you can read the nutritional info. For such a good drink, their flash site hits a big big loss.
