Good Lord. For those of you with absolutely no sense (like me), there is an energy drink that boasts the most caffeine of any energy drink. Ever.
In the energy drink war, this one stands as the disputed leader of the pack. While this is undeniably a massive boost of caffeine, it is also in a massive can, almost 24 ounces. Add to this an inability to save any of this drink for later and you have one serious drink in your hand - well, hands. For a carbonated energy drink, this is HUGE. While some drinks do have more caffeine per ounce, (Redline has 500 mg in an 8oz can - but is more like an energy shot than an energy drink, Spike is stronger in caffeine per ounce, but smaller in size) this one can provides enough to get some serious Caffeine Intoxication on. If you are not a fan of restlessness, nervousness, excitement, insomnia, needing to bounce your way to the bathroom, muscle twitching, a rambling flow of thought and speech and review posting, I would take your time with this one. While 500mg is certainly not enough to do any serious damage ( and I don't care what the health nutjobs say, you would need to drink over 20 huge cans, or over 480 ounces of this liquid at one time to OD on caffeine) it is enough to keep you powered up for a loooong time.

What else would I give this? Even though this is full of high fructose corn syrup, even though it has tons of preservatives ( potassium sorbate, Sodium Benzoate) it really does not matter. Hell, even a 6 1/2 shot latte would be unhealthy - and taste a whole lot worse. This drink also has ove 4400 milligrams of taurine, WAY more Vitamin B than you would ever need, white tea, guarana and lab made caffeine too. In other words, shoot this thing down too fast and you will look like out little spider friend. Although, without the super anhydrous caffeine rush that drinks like Redline and Spike, and the tempering of the man made caffeine with the use of white tea and guarana, the rush was more gentle than I was expecting, and the crash was very minor. Of course I took a good 3 hours to drink this thing, just because it took that long to get all that liquid down.

Most of the wired regular flavors ( the ones that do not say "Tropical" or "Berry" end up tasting like Red Bull Clone. In terms of clones, this one ranks lower than Red Bull, being more bitter and tart, not adding enough sugar to offset the Citric Acid. While this is slightly better than the Wired 294, it is very very close to the same. I guess this is supposed to taste citrus, but do not expect anything like grapefriuts or lemons. I found it a challenge to drink all 24 ounces, as this can gets old sitting around with no way to close it and save it for later.

The can works pretty well for me . The orange flames look really hot - and the overall can makes you feel like you are holding something very special. I also like their celebration of the high caffeine level, rather than covering it with warning stickers. Unlike the other mega-dose packages, this one has a chart showing it's potency compared to other energy drinks, and a blurb about its power.
The only real limitation is that this can is uncloseable. If you are going to make a drink with this many servings and this potent, having a resealable lid like Jolt colas or the big monsters would be a winning idea.
