Jetset Mixers take off with wired Energy Tonic.

Man, I sure hope this company is still around. I tried this for the first time last year, sampling the club soda they had at a local Safeway. I was completely blown away by their fantastic club soda, and really wanted more! One week later they were completely gone. With no return to my email, I am afraid of the worst. I hope I am wrong - and if you see any Jetset near you I suggest you stock up. My hesitation meant I could never try their tonic water, ginger ale or regular flavors.
Fortunately, out of the kindness of his heart and warehouse, Drake at Beverage Boutique dropped off a sample of this one for me to try out. knowing how much I loved the first time I encountered this company, I was pretty excited to get a nice gin and try the tonic water out.

Taste:9
This, and all the Jetset line, are used to be mixers in alcoholic drinks. I am even tempted to put this in the energy alcohol drinks, but seeing as it does not come pre-buggered, It might be misleading. If you are looking for a mixer that needs tonic water, this should be the one. this one hold it's own against any tonic water on the shelves, just as tasty and satisfying in a tall cool glass with lime, gin and ice as anything by Seagrams.

Gin and tonics have been close to my heart for a long time, being one of my favorite mixers since well before I was old enough to be drinking them. Gin and tonic is one of those drinks that I became perfect at making - and while I have since honed my drink mixing skills, as long as you don't overdo the gin and have quality ingredients, a gin and tonic is a hard drink to screw up. This can is the perfect size for 2 small drinks, or one really nice big one on for a tasty night.
This is slightly sweeter than an average tonic water, and is a little more full bodied. In a G&T it sings.

Nutrition/buzz:9
Yes this has high fructose corn syrup, but so has every tonic water I have seen in many a year. They still managed to put , 1000 milligrams of taurine, some Guarana and B-Vitamins, not to mention ginseng which adds a little spice to the quinine as well. In terms of kick - it will definitely boost you more than any Red Bull could - with 120mg in their can. This is certainly welcome, and will get you a really nice lift for a number of hours after.

Packaging: 8
This comes in a slim 10.5oz can - better than their 12oz pop cans - as this looks much shinier and cooler. Again, this drink has that Loony - Toons / Merrie melodies background, but it works when wrapped around the can. The overall quality of the can and printing is top notch and would look great surrounded by the nicest alcoholic drinks. While it was not so amazing when there was a silhouette of the "hot chick" just the name is the avant garde font works very well. They could have listed the caffeine on the can, but I liked the prominent website address and phone number. While not revolutionary, is is still pretty nice.

website www.drinkjetset.com :2
What is with the Warner brother Merrie Melodie Backgrounds? The website is a total waste. More than the last time I reviewed this - the score is dropping. I thought their site might have been a glitch - with no company info, a skipping flaswh movie and no contact screen. But no - sadly this one is here to stay. There is all the info in a hard to navigate website, that basically lists mixers you could do with the drink, while if you roll over and click at the right time you can read the nutritional info. but it is all a movie looped, so if you don't click on the drink at the right time it all changes For such a good drink, their flash site hits a big big loss.
