Another week with no movement at the top, as Chivas USA continues to dominate the field. As other teams sputter and stumble, the Goats just keep on racking up the victories.

MLS POWER RANKINGS BALLOT

  1. Chivas USA - Another efficient performance by Preki's squad. We'll know exactly how good they are after this week's showdown with D.C. United.
  2. D.C. United - Survived a wild game against Toronto to move on to a possible MLS Cup preview against Chivas USA.
  3. Toronto F.C. - Showed great heart in getting the draw against D.C. United on the road. It would be nice if someone other than Dwayne DeRosario would step up the scoring, though.
  4. Seattle Sounders - The good news: they earned a point while being down a man for almost a whole half. The bad news: it was against the LA Galaxy - at home.
  5. Houston Dynamo - After weeks of mediocrity, the Dynamo are starting to show signs of life.
  6. Chicago Fire - Still not buying that they are an elite team, and drawing at home to New England didn't do much to convince me otherwise.
  7. Colorado Rapids - A chance to get a nice road win against New England this week.
  8. Kansas City Wizards - Average in every way.
  9. Real Salt Lake - What was Robbie Findley doing on the bench in a game where Real Salt Lake was in desperate need of offense? Baffling...
  10. New England Revolution - Is the draw at Chicago a sign of things to come, or merely a temporary uptick in an otherwise downward spiral?
  11. Columbus Crew - Finally a win, and now a chance to reestablish themselves on the road this Sunday against the Galaxy.
  12. Los Angeles Galaxy - Two points from two tough road games is nothing to sneeze at, but can anyone really feel positive about how they got there?
  13. New York Red Bulls - It might have just been against the Earthquakes, but this was just what an ailing team needed to get healthy.
  14. FC Dallas - At least they didn't embarrass themselves against Houston...
  15. San Jose Earthquakes - Even with injuries as an excuse, there was really no excuse for the egg they laid against NY.
