Remember the old commercial "looks like a shoe, feels like a sneaker"? That may have been the inspiration behind this season's trendy yet comfortable jean-- the denim legging.

Denim leggings, or "jeggings", look like you are wearing a great pair of skinny jeans but feel as if you are wearing a pair of cozy leggings. They are perfect for tucking into this season's tall boots. Whether you prefer the look of 5 pockets or a clean, flat front look, denim leggings can be found at a variety of price points.

Citizens of Humanity makes two great styles. The Avedon low rise skinny leg has a traditional jeans look while the stirrup jean is pocketless and, as the name implies, has stirrups at the hem to keep your pants tucked into your boots. Both styles can be found at Len Druskin stores.

H&M's jegging is light in color and in price. Paired with a light colored blazer, you can recreate Gwyneth Paltrow's look at Stella McCartney's recent fashion show. Forever 21 also has several great budget options.

Denim leggings are everywhere this season and are surprisingly wearable. Pair your leggings with tall boots and boyfriend shirt or sweater for a comfy, chic weekend look or dress up your jeggings with heels and a tunic style blouse for evening.

Whatever style you pick, there are a variety of options and prices when it comes to the denim legging.
