Bedtime stories are a wonderful experience for both children and parents. The bonding experience is incredible and it can be very soothing for both as well. Not only do bedtime stories make the transition to bedtime go more smoothly but they also encourage and nourish a child's imagination.

The stories you make up off the top of your head are great but, for the times when you're not creatively inclined, there are an amazing amount of resources available for bedtime stories and books.

Mother Goose is not only a prime source of tried and true nursery rhymes but she is now also an inexhaustible supply of free games, crafts, and videos.

There are even websites with a free downloadable audio player where you and your child can listen to various nursery rhymes and bedtime stories.

So relax, share a bedtime story with your child and may your dreams be sweet.
