The anti-abortion movement has seized on Obama's support of healtcare reform bill HR 3962 to put forward the claim that health care reform would result in more government funded abortions.  Leading anti-abortion advocates posit that because the bill doesn't include language explicity forbidding taxpayer funded abortions, they would be possible under the legislation being currently considered.

According to an article posted on LifeNews.com, a leading anti-abortion website,

"Supporting a bill with massive abortion funding directly undercuts Obama's pledge in September to craft  a bill that doesn't do so."

However, if anti-abortion advocates are serious about reducing the number of abortions, they should consider that the number one cause of abortions is unintended pregnancies.  Countries where people see the doctor more often, and therefore have greater access to contraception, experience lower abortion rates.

In fact, every country with universal health care has lower abortion rates than the United States.  Countries that experience the highest rates of abortion are those where abortion is illegal and support for pregnant women is slim, like in Latin America.  That is something to consider when anti-abortion advocates declare their opposition to universal health care out of supposed fears of government funded abortions.
