DROID - an in-depth review (part 3)

So as promised here is the review of the new Motorola DROID. There will be jargon but leave a question in the comments and a response will shortly follow. Please allow me to introduce the DROID in time for Christmas.
There are so many features it is hard to start, which is why dimensions and a standardized bullet list of features get the lead in this in-depth overview of our new favorite toy.
Dimensions
- Display is 3.7 inches, 5 megapixel camera, best resolution on the market, Android 2.0 widgets, 13.7 mm thickness. There is nothing out there with these spectacular specs.
- Advanced OS
- Keyboarding revolutionized
- Many improvements to the Android
- Arm Cortex A8 CPU (a 600MHz, OMAP3430)
- 256MB of RAM, and 512MB of ROM
Widgets
Not extremely different from version 1.6, these cool applications allow for many widgets to be running and truly revolutionize the personal and business connections one can make. The idea behind this Google based and will make a huge impact on the web plan cellphone business.
Some widgets come right out of the box but there are more that are easily downloadable. They range from Facebook applications to weather updates. This fun way to help organize our lives is a great idea that will change your mind about getting you DROID.
What’s Next
As time goes on the downloads are going to make DROID untouchable compared to iPhone or Storm. For Christmas for get anything else this is where it’s at. Do not wait, they will more than likely sell out for Christmas.
