Face it, Halloween can become a nightmare in a hurry, especially for parents with older children that tend to stray from the guided path. The best option is to guide your children personally down the safest streets. Monitoring your child this Halloween as they trick or treat is no longer impossible and may prove less difficult than ever. If you are a gadget enthusiast and a parent then the new products listed on childsafetytech.com are now another option instead of stalking. These gadgets actually prevent a child from straying off the path set by his or her parents by utilizing predefined geo-fences and alerts. These new gadgets incorporate GPS, bio-monitoring, and two-way communications all on a stylish sports bracelet. Although there are several options available ranging from $200-$500, there are a few features that will make these bracelets a perfect Halloween companion.

A parent follows the simple software to determine where the child should be, within 10 feet. More importantly, the parent sets up specific times that their little monsters need to be at specific locations. By making check points, the parents are not only monitoring the child but guiding his or her path almost like walking beside them. As soon as the child leaves a predefined geo-fence or fails to make the check points on time the alert system notifies the parents via text message or email. These locators take real-time information every 15 seconds and the parents can also watch the kids on a map from the home computer. Best of all each bracelet can be set as child specific with built in bio-monitors that track heart rate and body temperature. This alerts the parents if the child has removed the bracelet or if another child has put on their child’s bracelet.

Besides the GPS and bio-monitoring these nifty gadgets also incorporate two-communication. This option is perfect of children with high risk for over-exhaustion. Parents, at any time, can talk with their children to check on water supplies, traffic, or simply to see how much candy they are accumulating. Parents, no longer can we use the excuse of keeping track of our trick or treating children to get some free candy ourselves. Now with these new technologies a bracelet and a computer can do a much better job at monitoring our kids during this annual frightful event. Of course the real-time GPS, geo-fencing, and two- way communication are key to keeping track of your travelling monster. Husbands should get an update on these systems offered at childsafetytech.com around Black Friday to catch the wife in the predefined areas of the local malls and department stores.
