Dog who was euthanized

SB 250, the Pet Responsibility Act, failed in the California State Senate, with a vote of 16 to 15.  It needed 21 votes to pass.

After successfully marching through several Senate committees, the bill was voted on today by the full Senate.  All the Republican Senators voted against it, and eight Democrats did not vote.

On Tuesday, June, 2, a one-time-only opportunity called "Reconsideration" will be implemented to give the bill one last breath of life.

Let your opinion about SB 250 be heard.  Contact these Senators tonight and tomorrow.
