Victorian at Peninsula Humane Society

This week, Peninsula Humane Society, the San Francisco SPCA and the Marin Humane Society would like to introduce you to some dogs looking for new homes:

Meet Victorian, a 9-yr, 10 mo old female English Springer Spaniel. You can call her Vic, Vicky or Tory. Just don’t call her old, or send her a subscription to AARP (American Association of Retired Pups!). This experienced girl has plenty of spunk and needs active owners. Coach potatoes look elsewhere. PHS/SPCA is located at 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo, CA 94401. Our available animal line (650/340-7022, ext. 700) is updated daily. Visit us at www.PHS-SPCA.org.

Cheyenne is a 2-year old hound mix, and a lively, energetic young girl.  She is looking for a person who will have plenty of time to spend playing and exercising her.  A home with adults or older children would probably be best for her, since she still needs to work on her manners.  Cheyenne is very smart and would enjoy attending a reward-based training class to learn lots of new thing.

The SF/SPCA’s Maddie’s Adoption Center, 250 Florida Street, is open daily, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. except Wednesday, 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. View more wonderful, adoptable dogs at www.sfspca.org.

Polo, 5-year-old, Neutered Male, 57lbs, English Bulldog/Pit Bull Mix
Due to the economy, Polo’s guardians were unable to care for him. However, he doesn't seem to mind that much - in fact, he seems to believe "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." Polo appears to love all people and all dogs. He runs around with so much enthusiasm that it can be hard to tell he only has three legs. Will you give him the love he wants in return?  Marin Humane Soceity.
