Teaching preschoolers about the love of animals and the earth we share with animals can be done through the help of the local SPCA.

The SPCA on Ensminger Road in Tonawanda has a program called Once Upon a Time for Preschoolers.

This is a free program for preschoolers from the SPCA where preschoolers can hear humane-related stories, do arts and crafts, and sing songs.

Dates are Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and registration is necessary.

The SPCA is a strong community resource for families and preschool children.  Be sure to check out the other family activities for young children on their website.

Also, if you are a preschool teacher, consider inviting the SPCA to your school for a day.  Even better, consider doing a school wide fundraiser and donate the proceeds to this wonderful animal shelter and safe haven.
