Former San Francisco 49er player Dana Stubblefield agreed to extend a restraining order that had been sought by his ex-fiancée, Melanie Wade,  ABC7 News reports.

A Santa Clara County family court judge handed down the decision on Wednesday, November 4.   Stubblefield was not present.  His lawyer declined to comment.  Stubblefied admitted no wrongdoing.

A judge agreed to extend the retraining order to five years.   Wade told ABC7's Dan Noyes, "I feel relieved, satisfied, happy it's over and hopefully everything works out for the best,"
