"Rather than waiting for the storms to pass, why not learn how to dance in the rain?"   White Feather

If you had one hell of a week, it may well have been the 'final exam' from Saturn, the planet of karma and restrictions, in its last days in Virgo (before it has a short re-entry from April to July 2010).  Each time Saturn prepares to move into new terrain it reliably triggers a rocky week or two.

So, no, you are not (necessarily) crazy, overreacting or melodramatic.  Energy has been severely heightened. And if in particular you've had difficulty not being hard on yourself, that's Saturn in Virgo all the way.

And while each sign brings its attendant gifts and challenges, some planets just fit better in certain signs.  Saturn is exalted in Libra,  a sign it 'likes.'  Saturn in Virgo is an awkward match, tending to turn up the cranky, argumentative, perfectionistic factor.

Especially at the end there.

(Although it was great for heightening the desire to be of service and make a difference.  Also for diagnosing and solving health problems, and cleaning out old issues).

And now we're on to Saturn in Libra, a different world.

At turning points such as this, it can be good to take a long hot bath filled with epsom salts to clear the aura of any residual energy you're wishing to release.  I like to relinquish difficult situations and see it all going 'down the drain'..

Also, I do a wonderful ritual I learned in India.  Get a coconut, imagine it filled with all your frustrations and attachments,  then smash it to release the old.  Offer everything over, grateful for the imminent blessings.

I went to the ocean last weekend to do a similar ceremony with my partner.

At the end, she said, "How can you be sure the offering was taken?"

At that moment, a shower of small rocks and pebbles began to rain down on us from a nearby cliff.  A spontaneous miniature landslide.

"There's your answer," I laughed as we went running.
