How can one not sit back on Thanksgiving and think about their blessings, about family and friends? There are a trillion, well maybe a million thanks I want to give but today, for this column, my thanks are to you my readers. It is your comments and support that drive me forward to post for sure it isn’t money. Also for voting the Dining Dish (companion blog to the Dining Examiner) as best food blog and third top blog in Baltimore through the Baltimore Sun's Mobbie awards.
I know it isn’t New Years when one looks back over the prior year but thought I would pick out eight stories from the past five months that are my favorites, your favorites or just because:
Before you could say farm-to-table there was my daddy
Chicken Cacciatore, my rant and recipe.
The Love Maine Lobster Claw game
The chocolate show and the chocolate fashion show
Women chefs, celebrity and non-celebrity answer the question, why food?
I ask the question, what is your experience with dirty restaurant bathrooms?
Are there favorite posts I missed, let me know. As always, subscribe to the Dining Examiner at the top of the post to have the stories delivered directly to your e-mail in-box, follow me on Twitter @daracooks or @diningdish. Need to reach me, examiner@diningdish.otherinbox.com. Happy Thanksgiving!
