I'll be there promoting my co-compiled cookbook, YUM-Tasty Recipes from Culinary Greats. This cookbook has 100 tested recipes from culinary greats from all over the country from Sara Moulton to Charlie Trotter, Norman Van Aken to Susanna Foo, Jacques Torres to Elizabeth Faulkner, Rick Bayless to Susan Spicer, Dorie Greenspan to Susan Hermann Loomis, Nick Malgieri to Steven Raichlen, Michel Richard to Sherry Yard and many, many more culinary greats.
This book was a great endeavor for many reasons:
- We worked with Eastern Techinical High School ProStart culinary students to help test the recipes expanding their skills in the kitchen, in reading recipes, in working with food products they normally wouldn't see and in showing various other job opportunities within the industry.
- Profits from the books purchased from the Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation will go to the ProStart scholarship programs.
