Vigilant night-time snowmaking at Arapahoe Basin will yield tomorrow's opening of two more runs. It also marks the opening of the upper mountain. Skiers and riders will be able to cruise top to bottom at A-Basin, starting at 8:30 a.m., when Norway Lift opens. The lift will service the two newly opened runs: Lenawee Face and Dercum’s Gulch.

Thus far, there has been expert-only skiing available at A-Basin. The opening of Lenawee and Dercum's marks the beginning of intermediate skiing and boarding at the resort.

If all goes as planned, the Molly Hogan teaching area will open next Saturday, November 14. Beginner and intermediate lessons will be available at that time.
