Hypnotic suggestions can help your child remember anything they want to remember, help they stay focused, help them love school, do their homework on time, pay attention in class, improve their attitude, and much more. The important thing is not to focus on too many areas in the first session, but the overall impact hypnosis can have on your child and your family is miraculous.

Our subconscious mind is an amazing thing. By directly accessing it to help create wellness, it can bring about permanent changes in our lives. If you're afraid that your child won't be able to focus on a hypnosis session, never fear. A good hypnotherapist will be able to discover what your child likes and direct their mind to that area while helping them heal subconsciously. Focusing on something as simple as a football or a balloon can take your child into hypnotic trance. The end result will be a happy, healthy, self-confident child who WANTS to succeed! And they will! Because children are more in touch with their imaginations than adults, they often respond better to suggestions and are often better candidates for hypnosis than adults. The process can help a child resolve such problems as pain, anxiety, bed wetting, asthma and much more.

The easiest way to hypnotize a child is to have them focus on something, a balloon or a swinging crystal, for example. As they continue to focus on the object,  their eyes begin to feel heavy and they become sleepy.  Yes, it's that simple, to get a child into a trance-like state. Once they are in this state, you begin to tell the child stories that can alleviate whatever problems they may have. The big plus of hypnosis is that, unlike drugs, the risk of harm is low.

So why aren't more doctors using hypnosis? It's just not taught that many medical schools, and some people still don't want to recognize it as a viable alternative. However, it's becoming more popular, and there are now many insurers who will cover it.
