The 4th Annual Paranormal Meet and Greet, will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, Saturday August, 8th 2009 in at the historic haunted Hannah House, 3801 Madison Avenue.

The event will begin at noon and run through 4 p.m. Everything is open to the public and admission is free.

The haunted Hannah House is where, on one tragic night, a group of slaves, cramped into a dark dirt-floored cellar, sat waiting for the right time to leave their hiding spot, to head for the freedom of Canada on the Underground Railroad. One of them unknowingly tipped over an oil lamp, instantly igniting the fire that trapped them there for eternity. The dead are buried in the very cellar that claimed their lives, in an attempt to cover up any trace of the heartbreaking incident.

Event Synopsis: 4th Annual Paranormal Meet and Greet, a pop culture event attracting thousands of paranormal enthusiasts from around the Midwest. The purpose is to aid networking within the paranormal community. Enthusiasts will be able to share ideas and meet people who may bring them closer to obtaining their goals. Paranormal organizations are encouraged to set up booths to present information about their organization.

People looking for paranormal investigators, or thinking about joining a paranormal group, shouldn’t miss this opportunity to meet some of the leading organizations in paranormal investigation.

Tours of the Hannah House will happen throughout the day.

They are also looking for sponsors of the event, anyone who would like to help monetarily. Sponsors of the event will have their donations go to items like portable restrooms, toiletries, and advertising needs for the event. ALL proceeds will be given to the Hannah House. They are asking $100 for sponsorships. Your information would be added to all of the advertising and be sent out to all media contacts, naming you as a sponsor.

This year the Hannah House will be holding a Yard Sale to coincide with the event. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to find your treasure to take home from the historic haunted Hannah House!

The Hannah House is looking for volunteers to help them with their Haunted House Fundraising events. Please look for the sign-ups! They also have Overnight Investigation nights you can sign your group up for to investigate the location. They still have open spots for August 8, the night of the Meet & Greet event. Those spots will fill up very quickly, visit here to sign up. http://www.thehannahmansion.org/Hannah_Experience.html

They will also have a food vendor this year, so you don’t have to pack a picnic lunch if you don’t want to this year. The menu is: hotdogs, jumbo dogs, chili & cheese dogs, buffalo dogs, brats, chips, soda, water, Gatorade and candy.

Please help advertise the event within your group, or with new teams in your area.
