If you have heard of this phenomenon then you already know how unbelievably good this production of meaty flavors is. If you have not, you, my friend are in for a treat of smoky, savory, pork bliss. I’m talking about the creation that swept Super Bowl parties across the nation this year, “The Bacon Explosion”. The company and website that developed this monstrosity is called www.bbqaddicts.com, just like the websites name implies, these guys are serious about barbeque and they are quite addicted. Developed during the weeks leading up to the main game of them all, the Super Bowl, these guys were asked to make a concoction that would supersede anything out there in terms of meat and creativity; they developed “The Bacon Explosion”.

The basic premise behind “The Bacon Explosion” is a simple one, put together bacon and sausage with some rub and barbeque sauce, roll them all together and smoke for 2 hours or so. But it goes beyond that with its design, which completes the creation into a masterpiece worthy of any prize. The weaving of the bacon to construct a solid outside layer with the rest of the ingredients contained within, it’s a sight to behold. And a task that is easy accomplished, even by the novice outdoor cooker. One thing is for certain, the guys over at www.bbqaddicts.com went above and beyond when they created it.

To view the recipe and learn step by step instructions on how to make “The Bacon Explosion”, click on the link below and be rewarded with a creation that will make your heart scream for help and your taste buds ask for more.
