
One the eve of his new dvd comedy special, "It's Pimpin' Pimpin'", comedian Katt Williams was arrested early Monday morning for burglary. Allegedly Williams, 38, was caught in Newman Georgia trying to force his way into a home using a crowbar. He was arrested shortly after. The county's police department claims that roughly $3,500 worth of jewelery and coins were stolen from the home.
Williams' court date is set to take place around 4pm on Monday afternoon where it will be decided if he is eligible for bail.
Williams gained his start co-starring along Ice-Cube in the comedy hit Friday After Next, where he played a character that he is all too familiar with, a pimp. From there Williams' career skyrocketed into stardom as he starred in several HBO comedy specials as well as hosting the first annual BET Annual Hip Hop Awards. Williams' latest comedy special "Its' Pimpin Pimpin'" is set for dvd release this wednesday.
