Milwaukee fans really seemed to enjoy the last Robin Thicke piece, so here is another. Robin Thicke seems to be making a play at enticing Hip-Hop fans with his new music by continuing to collaborate with the heavy weights. This time around, the soulful crooner linked up with legendary rapper Jay Z for a fun and sexy number. And after reading the review, be sure to peep the duo below working behind the scenes on the track in the studio.
The production here is solid. It has some bass, a clapping sound, various sound effects, and a cool vibe to it. The hook is good, the only thing that needs work is the female part. The part is a bit brash and doesn't quite fit in with Robin's smooth delivery. Actually, seems like a potential turn off for the listener. The part should be cut or maybe just redone. The verses on the other hand are hot, no complaints there. Robin kicks things off, Hov rips the second verse, and then Robin finishes up the track. The duo have well written lyrics and give off a very braggadocios air about themselves throughout the course of the song. Overall, this is definitely a banger and worth a few spins. Robin's new album Sex Therapy is supposedly due out on December 15, 2009. In the mean time, be sure to check out the single of the same title here. And for more news on Robin Thicke, check this out.
