Oceania Cruises will sail on new itineraries from Asia to Africa in 2010-11
Oceania Cruises recently announced its most extensive exotic line-up of itineraries to Africa, Asia, South America and the Caribbean beginning in the winter 2010-2011 season aboard the Nautica, Insignia and Regatta. Oceania's' Winter Collection will feature 30 new ports of call including Cape Town, South Africa; Walvis Bay, Namibia; and Rangoon, Myanmar(Biurma). Among the most intriguing of 13 new itineraries are voyages around Africa and an expanded range of Asia and Caribbean
cruises.
Africa & Asia -Nautica
The Nautica will focus on Asia beginning in November, 2010 when it sets sail on eight different itineraries highlighted by the first-ever visit to Africa by an Oceania ship. The itinerary "Enchanted Africa" is a 30-day circumnavigation from Istanbul to Cape Town. This cruise will be followed by "Safaris,Sands & Splendors", a new 35-day itinerary from Cape Town to Singapore via the Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
South America/ Insignia
Oceania's Insignia will offer a series of all-new 12-22 day itineraries that call at coastal villages of Brazil as well as cosmopolitan icons like Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. The ship will sail on a a 22-day "Antarctica and the Fjords" voyage that includes the Antarctic Peninsula, Falkland Islands and Chilean Fjords.
Caribbean & the Panama Canal /Regatta
Due to popular demand, the Regatta's 24 day "Amazon Adventure" round-trip sailing from Miami will offer a second departure in mid-March, 2011. The ship will also cruise on two new 10-day "Mayan Mystique" itineraries to western Caribbean ports and also sail on a 14-day "Southern Treasures" cruise combining the warmth of the tropics with the history of the Colonial South and the charm of Bermuda.
