Jackson broke many barriers with his fashion and his edgy style.
From his single silver sequins glove that he always wore on his left hand to his customized blazers that he sported for decades, Michael continued to show he can start fashion trends; and they would stick.
Everything that Michael wore and did, his fans mimicked
The hair, glove, blazers, and beyond his fans not only looked at him for musical inspiration but a fashion-forward triple threat.
In the movie, This Is It, Michael is filmed wearing a multitude of his signature pieces, such as, his red leather jacket from his music video “Thriller” to his entire sequins outfits in his video “Rock with you.”
Whether Michael was trendsetting on camera or off, onlookers continuously watched how he would take his style and make it unique.
It wasn’t just the clothes that he sported, but it was also his hair and accessories that made his style even more extraordinary.
Jackson rocked fedoras and military inspired stripes on most of his garments. He made every outfit his own.
And no one can for get the high pants, that allow his white sequins socks to show. No one could touch his style, but many tried.
Since his passing in June, Celebrities such as Chris Brown, Ciara, and Beyonce have been spotted wearing Jackson inspired jackets with all the sequins and stripes.
His look will never be forgotten. His music will never be replaceable. He is the one and the only Michael Jackson and he will live forever in our hearts and through his music.
