Yours truly in the Northstar sidecountry one spring...
Wax your boards, sharpen your edges, and invest in some new steeze. Ski season is nearly upon us!
These are the projected opening dates for our local resorts. Obviously, dates are subject to change, but if Mother Nature delivers, the resorts will be ready.
Alpine Meadows: Dec 5
Bear Valley: Thanksgiving (weekends only)
Boreal: Reopening Oct 30 (weekends only)
Diamond Peak: Dec 10
Dodge Ridge: Dec 10
Heavenly: Nov 20
Homewood: Dec 12
Kirkwood: Nov 21
Mount Rose: Oct 30 (yes, TOMORROW!!!)
Mammoth: REOPENING Nov 7
Northstar: Nov 21
Sierra at Tahoe: TBA
Squaw Valley: Nov 21
Sugar Bowl: TBA
Start doing your snow dance. It should be a fantastic El Nino season!
