It’s no secret that I hate garage/yard sales.

Loathe them, actually, for so many, many reasons.

The rummage sale rubberneckers, the heaps of unwanted items strewn haplessly across neighborhood yards, the shoppers who offer you a quarter for something you paid $50 just a few short years before.

But I’d never shoot someone over a would-be junk jamboree.

Police in Colorado Springs are searching for the killer or killers of two men who were gunned-down while posting signs for a garage sale last Friday night, near Carmel Drive and Monterey Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 719-634-STOP.

I’d suggest interviewing residents with competing sales that took place last weekend.
