A Palm Beach, Florida teen was sentenced this week to serve 18 months in a juvenile detention center for persuading his senile grandma to appear in a “gangsta rap” home video he made, while holding a gun and threatening to shoot “all the pigs,” reports said.
The boy was convicted of elder abuse, though his family claimed the case was a misunderstanding.
The announcement of the boy’s conviction came hours before aged TV icon Ed McMahon launched a new campaign ad for Freecreditreport.com – with the new moniker “Ed McGangster.”
McMahon raps in the advertisement, spoofing his highly publicized recent money woes, traveling to the homes of people he’s given oversized sweepstakes checks to in the past, asking them to return their winnings.
McMahon reportedly said the move is “all about attitude,” and said it could turn to something very good for him.
But how do we know he said that?
Maybe he’s just as senile as the Old G Grandma who was conned into fibbing about unfriendliness with the fuzz.
Poor McMahon. It kind of breaks my heart for him, actually.
The gold ropes and thug-wear just don’t suit him as well as a nice tux.
I think covering the money shortfall by re-launching Star Search would have been a much better idea.
