Colorado Springs Police today have placed blame for a pair of break-ins at a fast food Italian restaurant and a Circuit City electronics store squarely on the shoulders of an adult black bear.

According to reports, the bear set off a burglar alarm at a Fazoli's restaurant on North Academy Boulevard before smashing his way into a nearby Circuit City store.

Circuit City employees joked that the bear probably was aiming to get his paws on a 72-inch LCD-screen TV, but I think they're way off.

I think he wanted a Nintendo Wii. (Wii tennis is the best video game ever.)

But, according to their website, Circuit City is out of Wii's.

Too bad.

Despite leaving empty-pawed, there is one light at the end of his unsuccessful shopping venture.

He went into the store just after 7 a.m., so he was able to shop without being interrupted by employees or shoppers flexing their technology muscles.

Electronics are for nerds.

Except the Wii.
