Below is a list of towns and their haunts. This list was compiled with the help of information on Shadowlands  website

Let me start by saying if you decide to visit these or any haunted places, please be polite. People live or work in these areas. Many are residences, please don't trespass.

Also, amateur ghost hunting is fun, however can be dangerous. Contact a society in your area to see if they will allow you to join. There are also ghost-walks or tours in most large cities.

Adamsville-Bottenfield Middle School.

Young man seen by several in band and choir wing of the school. Any hour appears and vanishes.

Adamsville-Indian Meadows

Indian Meadows and close community, Shady Grove are both built over an ancient Cherokee indian burial ground. Hauntings here have been reported for the last 2 decades. Activites include; Dark figures seen scurrying in the woods on the outskirts of the neighborhoods. People have felt and even heard people follow them, when they look, no one is there. Hearing scratching noises outside their house late at night. One man has heard scratching sounds on his porch. When lights are turned on, no one is there. Next day he found claw marks down the banister of the porch. Some see shadows rushing past their windows at night. Upon investigation no one is found. Several people have heard footsteps late at night in hallways or on stairs. Doors slam by themselves, voices calling their name. Electrical equipment going on/off by itself. Also the sound of someone or something running through the house. One house had the face of a crying man appear on several doors in the house at the same time.

Albertville

Several hauntings all over the place! One school has doors slamming, locked lockers opening on their own. Library has elevator going up on it's own. Water running in the bathroom, stops upon human enters. Main Street Strip; At night you can hear footsteps and voices. In the early 1900s, a tornado ripped through the town and killed many people in this part of town. People are heard screaming at night when no one is there.

Anniston-High School. The girls locker room at Anniston High School has been the site of horrific hauntings involving young girls being stalked by footsteps drawing close to them. There are also rapes involved, (human or entity is unclear.)

Anniston. A former "BlockBuster" store, now a remodeled doctor's office was the scene of a few murders. Cold spots, and energy is felt, near where the killer exited the building. Parker Memorial, a nun who hung herself  in the main hallway, has been heard kicking the chair out from under her, and choking sounds are heard. The rope has been seen by other churchgoer. String Fellow Memorial Hospital. The founder of the hospital was an organ player, she can still be heard playing in the chapel.
