Ever wondered how Coca-Cola is made? Ever wanted to see Coca-Cola memorabilia? Ever wanted to taste different Coca-Cola products from all over the world? Those would all be reasons to visit the World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta.
The World of Coca-Cola is a large interactive museum of everything Coke. It features a 4D theatre, a meet and greet with the Polar Bear (made famous in the commercials), a fully-functional bottling line to show how the soft drinks are made, and sixty different testable Coca-Cola products from around the world. The World of Coca-Cola also has the world’s largest collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia from all over the globe. To top it all off, every visitor to the World of Coca-Cola gets a free 8 ounce bottle of Coca-Cola to take home.
Hours for World of Coca-Cola vary depending on what day of the week you go, so make sure to check the website for times. Adults (13-64) are $15, seniors (65+) are $13, children (3-12) are $10, and children 2 and under are free.
*Put it on your calendar.* On Saturday, November 7, from 12-4PM, World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium will host “U. S. Armed Forces Appreciation Day”. There will be activities for the family, as well as various branches of the military represented in the plaza between the two attractions. As part of this celebration, Coca-Cola will have a special promotion running November 7-14. Active and retired members of the military are always admitted to World of Coca-Cola for free, but during this promotional period, members may purchase up to four half-price general admission tickets for their friends and family. They may also receive 10% off in The Coca-Cola Store. To take advantage of these discounts, members and retirees need only present their Armed Forces ID card at the World of Coca-Cola ticket booth and the store checkout.
The Georgia Aquarium will also have special offers and discounts in celebration of the Armed Forces. Visit their website at: www.georgiaaquarium.org/acb/stores/1/newclubfishlink.aspx?Conv_Id=617
