Anyone who has been to a bar has tried or at least heard of Long Islands, Margaritas, and Daiquiris. But isn’t it time to try something new? Are you ready to step out of the box and order something other than a common everyday drink? The following drinks are ones that you might have never heard of, but they are definitely worth a try.

Singapore Sling-- Gin, lemon juice, pineapple juice, cherry brandy, bitters, and grenadine. One word, delicious.

Death in the Afternoon-- Equal Parts Pernod and Champagne. After drinking a few of these, the origins of the name is obvious.

French 75-- Consisting of Gin, Champagne, lemon, orange and marachino cherry juices. Just a warning, this drink it pretty powerful.

Negroni-- This is a martini that is all kick. It's equal parts campari, sweet vermouth and gin and a twist of lemon. A great classic drink that is classy and sassy.

Sloe Gin Fizz-- Sloe Gin, lemon juice, ice and a dash of soda. Sloe gin is interesting because almost every bar has it in stock, but no one ever really knows what it is. But I’m let you in on the secret, it’s gin that has been steeped in plums.

So, next time you wander into a bar, order one of these drinks. Who knows, maybe everyone else will be jealous of your originality and creativeness, and you could become a trendsetter.
