Over at Niners Nation, Florida Danny has done a fantastic job compiling stats on new offensice coordinator Jimmy Raye
This statistical review broke down the history of Raye as an offensive coordinator for other teams. The stats are compared to current NFL coordinators as well as previous 49ers coordinators. What does Raye bring that makes him better than those of the past? These are the questions that were addressed.

The review also took a look at the coordinators the 49ers intrerviewed before hiring Raye. Compared to them, was Raye the right choice? It's a really impressive review and it at least helps us conclude that Raye isn't as bad as we might have initially thought.
