Entering the NFL Draft, the 49ers are looking for help on the offensive side of the ball. It would be easy for the 49ers to draft a quarterback with their 10th pick and just call it a day. But the 49ers are in desperate need of protection. The 49ers played terribly in protecting the quarterback and drafting a new right tackle could be the best solution for the 49ers.

Given the situation, the 49ers might just end up drafting a tackle. There are three tackles in this year's draft that have been projected to be Top 10 material. These players are Eugene Monore (Virginia), Andre Smith (Alabama) and Jason Smith (Baylor). If the 49ers can secure one of these players with their first pick, it will help the team in securing the run game and protecting the quarterback.

The 49ers will be looking at many different positions with their first pick. But if they are going to be smart, they should take a look at these three athletes to help secure longevity in their run game and pass protection.
