- Mark Recchi snapped a Bruins 0-for-20 skid with a power-play goal. It was his third goal on the season, and first goal in the last six games. The 41-year-old also lead all Bruins' players with four--of37--shots on goal.
- Zdeno Chara--a one-time bomb on the power-play--lit the lamp for the first time this year
- Tuukka Rask shunned away 28 of 30 shots he faced, and is now 3-1-1 on the season with a 2.33 GAA., .919 SV% and one shutout.
- Steve Begin went 9-for-12 in the face-off circle (75%)
- Boston killed all seven times short-handed.
- Patrice Bergeron continued his hot-streak with another assist, and is the team leader in points with 5-5-10.

- Boston had nine players with one-point.
- Shawn Thornton fought former Bruin, Steve Montador, for his first major penalty since Oct. 24.
